ENTER THE LATA RESPONSIBLE TOURISM AWARDS!
The Latin American Travel Association will this year be hosting the LATA Responsible Tourism Awards to celebrate innovation and excellence in responsible, ethical and sustainable tourism practices across Latin America. The awards form part of the Global Responsible Tourism Awards started by Dr Harold Goodwin and will put Latin America on the map for sustainable travel.
The awards, which are free to enter and open to all, will discover, acknowledge and highlight exemplary initiatives that can be replicated and scaled across the region.
You can enter in one or any of the following six categories:
- Making Travel Inclusive
- Championing Cultural Diversity
- Nature Positive
- Combating Climate Change
- Increasing Local Sourcing – Creating Shared Value
- Employing and Upskilling Local Communities
Entry criteria and information
- The awards are now open, and all entries should be submitted via the website by 6pm (GMT) on 10 May 2024.
- The LATA Responsible Tourism Awards are open to all, including non-members.
- Awards will be announced during the LATA Expo Gala Dinner on Monday 24 June.

The Gold Winners of the LATA Responsible Tourism Awards will be automatically put forward for the Sabre Responsible Global Tourism Awards.
