Thank you for you interest in the LATA Sustainable Travel Programme and the pilot scheme for the 360-Degree Review.

LATA Sustainability Programme, aims to create a tourism business network, the LATA Sustainable Travel Network, a peer-to-peer grouping with clear and consistent sustainability policies that can be shared, understood and delivered

We would welcome any member, regardless of where they are in their sustainability journey, to apply to join the pilot. There are just 12 places in the pilot and the participants will help refine and shape the scheme for all members.

The deadline to apply for the pilot is Friday 7th October. Please note that LATA plan to run further cohorts once the pilot is complete. Anyone not selected for the pilot will be given first refusal on joining the subsequent cohorts.

You must be able to commit an estimated 7 or 8 hours per month to the pilot – we will, or course, gain a better understanding of the time commitment as we move through the pilot stage.

To ensure the pilot has a cross section of experience, we are asking you to let us know where you feel you are in your sustainability work:

  • Beginner: You have not started working on, don’t know how to get going or been working on a sustainability programme for less than 6 months.
  • Intermediate: You have made some progress, but there is still some way to go before you have a sustainability policy in place. You have probably been working on sustainability for 6-18 month.
  • Advanced: You have been working on sustainability for 18 months + and you have sustainability policies in place. You might be working towards certification.
  • Certified: You hold a recognised sustainability certification.
