LATA Media Awards
LATA is delighted to announce the LATA Media Awards 2026, taking place on 22 September, and entries are now open.
The annual awards ceremony recognises innovation and excellence across the British travel media landscape and rewards articles, blogs and photography that promote travel to and around Latin America.
As well as the dedicated media categories, LATA members have the opportunity to submit their entries for ‘Best LATA member content’, published on their own channels. This is one stand-out piece of content which positively promotes travel to Latin America (a/o a specific destination or project).
LATA members are also welcome to submit entries on behalf of UK media.
The LATA Media Awards will include the following categories:
How to enter
Entry criteria:
- Entries will be welcomed from UK published editors, journalists, bloggers and photographers.
- PRs a/o other third parties can also submit entries.
- Entries can be news stories, travel features or photo stories and must present Latin America in a positive light, encouraging travel to the region.
- Submissions must be sent via email either in PDF format or a high-quality scan. For the online categories, please include a link to the piece.
- Each submission needs to include: name of author/photographer, date and title of publication, contact information (please note, if submitted by a third party, i.e. PR Company or tour operator, please also specify).
- Each submission must be published content and must not be a sponsored article.
- Submissions for the photo story must be a published and of/in Latin America.
- All submissions must have been published between 01 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.
- A maximum of three entries are allowed per person.
Deadlines
All entries should be emailed to mediaawards@lata.travel with the LATA MEDIA AWARDS 2026 SUBMISSION FORM (please note a separate form is required for each entry), by 6pm (GMT) on 1 May.
Results will be announced at the LATA Media Awards on 22 September 2026.
