Thank you again so much to those who joined us in Windsor for LATA Expo last week. We’re delighted with how the new, residential format worked, and we’ve had some great feedback so far. If you have not yet completed your feedback survey, please do so as soon as possible. Please do be honest – we really need to understand how the event delivered for every participant.
The real star of the Gala Dinner was the dancing Guinea pig, but we also announced the winners of the LATA Responsible Tourism Awards and the LATA Achievement Awards. We were also thrilled that the auction raised over £11,000 and would like to thank everyone who bid or donated a prize. It is an incredible amount to raise for the LATA Foundation and we are so grateful for your generosity.
During the Conference, we announced the Latin American 2030 project. We will be contacting you with more information in the coming months on how you can be involved with this. We also shared more about our partnership with Wanderlust to mitigate the environmental impact of LATA Expo by contributing to a wildlife corridor project being managed by WeForest in Brazil and look forward to working together longer term as LATA’s sustainability partner.
We have a great photo gallery for LATA Expo so, whether you were there and want to relive the experience, or you weren’t there and want to see what everyone’s talking about, you can have a look at the photos HERE. You are welcome to download any of these for your own usage, but please do credit Sarah Lucy Brown.
We look forward to seeing you again next year.
