Tropic was doubly recognized at last week’s LATA Excellence Awards 2026, winning both DMC of the Year and Workplace of the Year. The awards celebrate the relationships at the heart of Tropic’s journeys – from our local immersive experiences such as our May I Introduce You programs that connect travelers with artisans, producers, chefs, and communities to the conservation and restoration initiatives helping protect the landscapes we call home and creatively share with the world. The awards also recognized something equally important: Tropic’s people and the culture we continue to build across Ecuador, Peru and Chile. This includes the commitment and dedication of the Tropic team, and our belief that great journeys begin with great people and that the best journeys leave travelers changed.
