Conservation is a cause close to Tropic’s heart, and we are pleased to share another example of our involvement in local conservation initiatives in South America, this time in the Galápagos Islands.

As a member of The Conscious Travel Foundation (TCTF), Tropic has joined TCTF in contributing to an educational programme run by ECOS Foundation, a longstanding local partner. Over the years, we have developed experiences together that connect travellers with the foundation’s educational and conservation work.

The contribution will support activities that encourage young islanders to explore and better understand their natural surroundings. Coastal clean-ups, mangrove monitoring, field explorations and introductory snorkelling sessions offer opportunities to discover the biodiversity of Galápagos, including experiences that some children have never had, despite growing up on the islands.

We are delighted to continue collaborating with our friends at ECOS Foundation and supporting educational opportunities that may inspire future scientists and conservationists dedicated to protecting this remarkable ecosystem.
