Las Torres Patagonia confirms that tourism services and transport connections across Chile continue to operate normally, including in Santiago and Chilean Patagonia.

Following recent media coverage of a localised flooding incident in the San Carlos de Apoquindo area of Santiago, the company would like to reassure travel advisors and tour operators that the situation is under control and the country’s main tourist destinations remain unaffected.

The incident was limited to a specific area of the capital, where local authorities have carried out cleanup and recovery efforts. Santiago’s international airport, public transportation, hotels, and tourist attractions continue to operate as usual.

Chilean Patagonia, including Torres del Paine National Park, was not affected by the incident. Hotel Las Torres and all Las Torres Patagonia facilities, services, and guided excursions continue operating normally, welcoming visitors from around the world.

Travel advisors and tour operators can continue planning and confirming their clients’ trips to Chile with confidence.
