Condor Travel’s Misminay Community-Based Tourism Initiative in Peru has been selected as a finalist in the 2026 ICRT LATA Responsible Tourism Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to sustainable tourism across Latin America. Located in the Sacred Valley, Misminay is an Andean community where tourism supports the preservation of weaving, gastronomy and ancestral traditions while generating sustainable income for local families. Today, the initiative directly supports 18 families and welcomed more than 15,000 visitors in 2025. Developed alongside the community since 2008, Misminay continues to strengthen cultural continuity through authentic, community-led experiences.
