Protecting the Pink Iguana in the Galapagos

Sustainability
Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands

On the slopes of Wolf Volcano, on the Galapagos’ westerly Isabela Island, one of the world’s rarest species faces serious threats to its survival. Metropolitan Touring, in partnership with the Jocotoco Foundation and the Galapagos National Park Directorate, is actively working to protect the Pink Iguana through key actions such as controlling invasive species that threaten its hatchlings and restoring its fragile habitat. This collaboration reaffirms our commitment to biodiversity conservation and to supporting scientific and sustainability initiatives in the Islands.
