Located in a fertile Patagonian valley between the majestic Andes and the vast waters of Buenos Aires lake, Los Antiguos is the gateway to an extraordinary off-the-beaten-track adventure.

Explore landscapes shaped by millions of years of history, from 65-million-year-old petrified forests to the spectacular Marble Chapels and Cathedrals, reached by boat across South America’s second-largest lake. Hike to the iconic Cueva de las Manos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover ancient rock art preserved for thousands of years.

Another must-see in the area is Parque Patagonia, where you can experience an inspiring rewilding project and encounter native wildlife in its natural habitat. Then follow the legendary Route 40 through some of Patagonia’s most remote and breathtaking scenery.
A minimum of 4 nights in Los Antiguos is required to enjoy the full experience. From here, continue north toward Bariloche and the Lake District, or head south to the glaciers and the spectacular landscapes of El Chaltén and El Calafate.
Wild Patagonia. Ancient history. Unforgettable adventure.
