Following intensive river monitoring, the Iguazú National Park authorities have activated a restriction protocol today, Wednesday 14 October, to ensure visitor safety.

Status today (Argentine side):
– Upper Circuit: closed
-Lower Circuit: closed
-Trails: closed
Territorio Yaguareté, Yvyrá Retá Visitor Centre and park shops: open as normal

Heavy rainfall in Misiones and southern Brazil keeps the Iguazú River high and variable, and access is reviewed daily. Yesterday the park reopened with the Upper and Lower Circuits available. Conditions can change quickly in both directions.

We are in daily contact with our local partners and are adapting itineraries case by case for clients travelling now or arriving shortly. If you have clients due in Iguazú, please contact us directly and we’ll advise on timing and alternatives.
