Iguazú National Park (Argentine side) reopened to visitors today, Tuesday 13 October, after its temporary closure due to high water levels.

Heavy rainfall in Misiones and southern Brazil means the Iguazú River remains high and variable. Park authorities assess access to each circuit daily, based on weather and safety conditions.
Status this morning:
-Jungle Train: running every 20 minutes (Central – Cataratas)
Upper Circuit: open
-Lower Circuit: open, with restrictions near Álvar Núñez falls
-Devil’s Throat: closed
-Macuco Trail and Sendero Verde: closed
-Medical services: operating at Cataratas Station and Lower Circuit
The falls are running at exceptional volume, so visitors on the open circuits are seeing them at their most powerful.

We are in daily contact with our local partners and adjusting itineraries case by case. If you have clients due in Iguazú soon, please contact us directly. We’re happy to advise.
