Iguazú National Park (Argentine side) is open to visitors today, Thursday 15 October, with the Lower Circuit available. With the current water flow, its six falls are particularly impressive, and the circuit offers the classic panoramic views of the Falls.
The Iguazú River remains high and is under constant technical monitoring. Following today’s safety assessments, the Lower Circuit is the only area meeting the conditions for visitor access. The other circuits remain closed for now.
Restaurants and park services are operating as normal, as are the Gran Meliá Iguazú hotel, El Fortín restaurant and Iguazú Jungle.
Measures are announced daily under the park’s safety protocol, so conditions may change at short notice.
We are in daily contact with our local partners and adapting itineraries case by case. If you have clients due in Iguazú, please contact us directly and we’ll advise on timing and alternatives.
