Colombia

Colombia’s Pacific Coast is a region where travel is primarily done by boat, navigating through mangroves, tropical rainforest, and small coastal villages. Unlike other destinations in the country, the rainforest lies close to the sea, offering experiences focused on jungle hikes, boat excursions, and nature encounters. In Nuquí, attractions such as Love Waterfall and natural hot springs stand out, while Bahía Solano serves as a gateway to Utría National Natural Park, known for its mangroves and rainforest trails. Between July and October, humpback whales arrive in the region, making it a leading wildlife watching destination. Access is available from Medellín or Bogotá through regional flights.
