Exciting news for Costa Rica! British Airways will operate its direct London Heathrow–San José (SJO) route year-round from October 2026 through September 2027, moving the service from Gatwick to Heathrow. Five weekly flights will operate from October through March, followed by three weekly flights from April through September. The route will be operated with a Boeing 787-8, featuring 204 seats across Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.
