Belmond (UK) Limited

Summer 2012 saw the launch of Belmond Palacio Nazarenas, a 55 suite hotel set in a former palace and convent in Cusco. The urban retreat encompasses oxygenated suites crafted by local artisans, a full service spa offering an indigenous product range, iPads in every room loaded with insider city guides, Cusco’s first outdoor swimming pool and an all-day dining experience showcasing contemporary Andean cuisine.
Latin America is a huge focus for Belmond and its collection also includes Belmond Casa de Sierra Nevada, a 33 room boutique hotel in the colonial town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa on the Mayan Riviera, which has a spa designed according to sacred Mayan geometry. In Brazil, the iconic Belmond Copacabana Palace in Rio is joined by Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, which has an enviable location in Iguassu National Park right next to the falls. Along with its Peruvian partners, Belmond operates the rail operator, PeruRail, with services between Cusco, Machu Picchu and Lake Titcaca. Also in Peru are Belmond Miraflores Park in Lima; the 16th century Belmond Hotel Monasterio in Cusco; Belmond Sanctuary Lodge in Machu Picchu; and Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado in the Sacred Valley.
